- Marisia Cardoso is a journalist based in Holland. She currently works for Africanews.com.
- My connection to Africa
- My parends both imigrated from Sao Vicente, Cape Verde to Rotterdam, Holland before I existed. They found eachother and love in Rotterdam and I was born 31th of August 1983. I grew up in Rotterdam and I followed diffrent kinds of educations like Communication, Media Design and the Art School Willem de Kooning in Rotterdam. When this all wasn't working I I decided to move to Zwolle in 2005 and start my curent study Journalism. Its going great and I'm in my last year now. I also did my pre-master and I'm looking forward to move to Amsterdam and follow the Journalism Master at the VU.
Because I'm still a student I'm doing some freelance work. I also started to work once a week at the office of Africanews.com.
