- Aernout has lived and worked in Africa since 1997. Although born in Lusaka (Zambia) he was raised in The Netherlands.
For the last ten years he has been the Africa correspondent for a paper in The Netherlands (Algemeen Dagblad) and one in Belgium (De Morgen). He travelled through more then thirty countries to report on news, backgrounds and trends. - My connection to Africa
