A Mass Communication graduate (Broadcast Journalism Major) and also a Diploma holder in the same field, I intend to pursue Journalism and media arts which are my passion and interest.
I am currently a freelance writer, content producer and an aspiring independent filmaker. I have worked for different entities under different capacities related to media and communication; Corporate Communications- Telkom Kenya, Public Relations- National Hospital Insurance Fund-Kenya, Production Assistant- Kenya Television Network (KTN Kenya), Writer/Contractor- Talenci Group, and independent contractors.
My connection to Africa
Africa: I believe I am a Pan-Africanist at heart and as it may seem like a Laputan dream, the time for Africa has come and this is the century that we will witness the 'African potential' unleashed. On the other hand, I am a pragmatist and I do not foresee a solid "United States of Africa" in the near future but I see cohesion, political and economic federation among other ideal progression as a continent. Through seemingly insurmountable odds, Africa has dragged itself through a story of darkness and doom to being the present envy of the world in terms of economic health and feasible future prospects. We are the vessels of that 'African Dream.
