Meet our star reporters!

From November 2009 onwards we reward 5 Africanews.com reporters every month with 100 euros for their contributions.

The editors in Ghana, Kent Mensah and Joseph Appiah Dolphyne, decide (in consultation with the Amsterdam office) on five writers (+ one videomaker/photographer if we have received high quality work) whom they would like to stimulate with a fee.

The criteria for becoming reporter of the month:
- Focus on what you believe is important news. Surprise us!
- Have an eye for exciting developments in business, innovation, culture, sports.
- Don’t focus too much on politics.
- Write in clear and short sentences and simple structures.
- Be creative in choosing subjects, headlines and intro’s.
