When you think of visiting Cameroon, the following places should be topping your list.

Weather Information

In my opinion, no one time is really perfect to visit Cameroon because of its varied topography.
The north has a single wet season from April/May to September/October. The hottest months here are March to May, when temperatures can soar to 40°C (104°F), although it's a dry (and therefore generally bearable) heat.
The south has a humid, equatorial climate, with rain scattered throughout the year and almost continual high humidity.

Food In Cameroon

The staple foods eaten by Cameroonians vary from region to region, depending on climate, and what is grown locally.
Cameroonians generally eat starchy foods  with spicy (often very hot) sauces. Meat (typically endangered games which they consider cheaper) usually smoked, fried and roasted fish, curries and peppery soups are very common dishes.

Staple foods eaten in the north are corn, millet, and peanuts. In the south, people eat more root vegetables, such as yams and cassava, as well as plantains (similar to bananas). In both north and south regions, the starchy foods are cooked, then pounded with a pistle (a hand-held tool, usually wooden) until they form a sticky dough called fufu (or foofoo), which is then formed into balls and dipped into tasty sauces.
