Services
What can the NABC do for you:
Network: The NABC was founded in 1945 and has over the years been an association in which business(wo)men active in Africa meet each other on a regular basis. Over the years, the NABC has grown into an organisation which is a focal point for anybody (wanting to be) active in Africa. Not only experiences are exchanged, but meetings are arranged as well, in which business(wo)men and Ambassadors meet on a regular basis;
Unlimited database: The NABC supports its members regarding questions and problems that may arise when business is done with African companies and governments. In addition, information can be obtained regarding potential buyers, producers, distributors, agents, et cetera;
Market research: The members can assign the NABC to gather information regarding a specific city or country. Data on African companies can for instance be screened.
Trade Missions: Either in cooperation with other organisations or independently, trade missions are organised, in which a representation of companies travels to and from the Netherlands and Africa;
Seminars: A variety of seminars is organised every year. Sometimes exclusively by the NABC, sometimes in cooperation with other organisations. The purpose of these seminars is to provide information on doing business in Africa as well as to get in touch with collegue-entrepreneurs active on the African continent;
Personal attention: Every NABC-member is personally visited by the Manager, so that your products as well as your wishes regarding the African continent are well-known to our organisation;
Newsletters: A bi-monthly publication -in English- provides an overview of recent events in Sub Sahara African countries. Additionally, NABC-members can present themselves without charge in this News letter;
Central database: The NABC has been setting up and maintaining a database regarding companies and institutions which are active in/with Africa. NABC members have free access to this database;
Cooperation: The NABC cooperates amongst others with the NCH, EVD, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a large number of Chambers of Commerce. In cooperation with the above-mentioned institutions we publish our annual activity calender, providing an overview of the various trade promotion activities;
Problem solving: when NABC members have points of discussion regarding protectionism, delivery, clearance, et cetera, the NABC can provide you the right names of contactpersons with embassies and consulates;
Point of contact: The NABC is the link between its members and government organisations: For instance: do you have questions regarding subsidies? Who is the right contact person within a certain Ministry? What (government) institution deals with a specific matter? You only need to dial one number: 0031 70 304 3618. The NABC will provide you with the right answer;
