Vision Care Service
Vision Care Service (VCS) is Non-governmental Organization (NGO) founded in Korea for providing ophthalmic medical services to those in need, irrespective of their origin, social status, ethnicity and religion.
VCS supports people who need eye surgery or proper treatment but couldn’t afford to get.
Since 2002, Vision Care Service has worked with various partners and supporters. We are dedicated to facilitating comprehensive and quality eye care, with a focus on cataract blindness, for disadvantaged people. We share WHO’s resolution in pursuit of “VISION 2020” which initiated the global campaign to eliminate the main causes of avoidable blindness by 2020, in order to give all people in the world the Right to Sight. VCS is a member of International Agency for Prevention of Blindness.
Restore that valuable Sight
VCS’s aim is to serve people with visual impairment to restore sight regardless of their nationality, sex, or religion. We will go everywhere and help avoidable blindness and vision impairment.
No one cherished sight more than one who lost it and regained it. VCS has a vision to “Restore that valuable Sight” and “Share the Vision” with all our neighbors. We dream that all people are able to exercise their right to sight.

Free Eye Camp
We have conducted regular medical camps, called Free Eye Camp (FEC) since year 2002. FEC is the Out-Reach project for cataract surgery and medical treatment for eye diseases. This camp is our method to achieve our vision, which is to prevent the blindness that is treatable.
