Why our partners are important to AfricaNews

We work to make our partners part of the AfricaNews community. In addition to creating exposure for your organization your partnership helps support the AfricaNews initiative.

We are busy building a pan African network of journalist, photographers and film makers. Our ambition is to build an open platform for Africans to share their news and information with the world. The more exposure we can create for local talent the more opportunities we can create. This process stimulates the development of the African media sector, good governance and democracy.

Some of the AfricaNews journalists are already employed by a growing list of organizations. They are paid for creating unique content from a local perspective. We are increasingly looking for innovative ways to support this process.

See our Voices of Africa project, an example of how we are working with GSM mobile phones to change the face of media on the continent.
