The strength of tourism in Fako Division:
Fako is a beautiful Division of the South West Province, endowed with natural resources. It is known nation-wide for its booming agro-industrial economy and tourist attraction that has for many decades contributed significantly to the socio-economic growth of the province.

Alongside its industries and extensive green plantations of scenic landscape, other major attractions in Fako are the vast tourist resources (beaches and forests, historic relics etc) that are tightly knotted in the presence of the magnificent volcanic “Mount Cameroon” (4100m). Lengthy coastline and black sand beaches are continuously washed by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean below the blue sky in autumn and spring.
