- According to environment protection NGO WildlifeDirect and the Congolese Nature Conservation Institute (ICCN), Honore Mashagiro organised the killings for some lucrative business.The gorillas were killed in 2007 in Virunga National Park where more than three hundred of them live. - Cape Verdian airline TACV is about to lose at least 50.000 passengers wich is 10% of all traffic to the Portuguese airline TAP according to Lusa news agency in Lisbon. TACV general director Gilles Filletreault affirmed in an interview with Lusa that TACV will lose passengers because of the soon to be introduced daily flights between Portugal and Cape Verde that TAP will offer.
