- Police in Monze have picked up a body of a deceased woman suspected to be a Zimbabwean national. News crew which rushed to the scene found the decomposed body lying under the tree in tall grass behind Uchi Gardens in Monze urban. The deceased has been identified as Lizzy Moyo born on 28th August, 1980. According to the police, the deceased could have died three weeks ago adding that the deceased was a businesswoman who was street vending and knitting table clothes. - Holy Family Hospitaller of St. John of Ireland has reiterated the importance of community based rehabilitation-CBR in Monze district of Zambia. Speaking when she officially opened the 2013 annual general meeting in Monze today, Supervisory Board Chair Jane McEvoy said Child Development Centers are an important tool in the promotion of CBR.
