[PHOTO GALLERY] 28 of the victims of the ethnic violence were buried on 23 January in Nairobi after a religious service attended by senior opposition leaders and their supporters. Over 600 people were reported dead in. The risks of escalation are still high.
AfricaNews photographer Lameck Nyagudi attended the funerals which police interrupted by firing teargas into the mourning crowd.
