MTV, a Lebanese television, revealed a drugs scandal in which the brothers of a parliamental member from the so called Hizbullah are involved. The MTV quoted an unnamed source Wednesday, March 7, 2012 as saying that Imad al-Moqdad and Hesham and Jihad al-Moussawi, brothers of the so called Hizbullah parliamental member Hussein Moussawi, were still hiding after they were accused of manufacturing and dealing in the drug Captagon pills. Following the seizure by the Lebanese customs of two machines imported from China, which are used to produce Captagon pills,Marwan Saad an expert drug manufacturer known as the “Doctor” was arrested. A customs agent at Beirut port was similarly arrested after five tons of caffeine and 2330 litres of ether were seized which had been imported and the materials were subsequently hidden. Police's interrogation of Marwan Saad led to the arrests of a further ten persons suspected of being involved in the case including two brothers of the so called Hizbullah deputy Hussein Moussawi, two other suspects from al-Moqdad,and others from Moussa, Ismaiil, Al Zein, Fakhry etc...including an arrest in the Bekaa area of a person who admitted that he was mixing chemicals to produce narcotic pills. Previously to this news, Hassan Sabra, the owner of Al Shiraa journal has published a striking articles regarding narcotic pills manufacturing and smuggling networks under the cover of the so called Hizbullah.
