WC 2010: South Africa face Namibia

    World Cup host South Africa face off in an international friendly against Namibia at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on March 3, according to SAFA. The game will be part of the 100 Days celebrations before World Cup 2010 kicks off on June 11.

    It will be Bafana’s third game this year after they beat Swaziland 6-2 in a training match and then defeated Zimbabwe 3-0 in an international friendly, according to Goal.com.

    After the game the South Africans will head off for a pre-World Cup camp in Brazil and Germany.

    Meanwhile, SAFA CEO Leslie Sedibe has confirmed to the press that Esselen Park in Johannesburg will act as Bafana Bafana’s base camp for the World Cup.
