Ghana celebrates Under-20 World Championship

The youngsters of Ghana beat football giants Brazil in a dramatic 4-3 penalty shoot-out last Friday in Cairo, Egypt.Loading video...The entire nation was electrified and charged with drumming and dancing on the streets. The national youth team returned to Ghana over the weekend and were welcomed at the airport by a mammoth crowd led by Vice President John Mahama.
They went on a float on the principal streets of Accra and interacted with members of the public before presenting the cup to President Atta-Mills at the seat of Government.
