- Posted on Saturday 2 May 2009 - 12:27PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA MIRACULOUS DEEDS TAKING THE MINDS OF CAMEROONIANS
Temitope Balogun Joshua (born June 12, 1963), commonly referred to as T. B. Joshua, is the Nigerian founder of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), a Christian organization headquartered in Lagos Nigeria.
Recently the Renowned Man of God, who has captured viewers of his Television Network on Emmanuel TV, has witnessed a tremendous growth in the population of his Church world wide. His Church Service that is attended by many drawn from Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America is making headline news in media houses around the globe.
Cameroonians on their part are not left amongst those who pay regular visits to Nigeria to see the Man of God. Notable, Cameroon’s popular musician and artist Petit Payee received a call from the man of God that his life is under threat due to a cult he joined some time ago. Upon his Confessions (Petit Payee), he revealed that he is a member of an occultic Society that is treating to take away his life. When the man of God ministered to him, the first word that came out his mouth was “Pastor Awan bi ya Combi.” in a direct translation; he is trying to say that he would like to join T.B Joshua in his work. The man of God again asked him to disease from singing immoral songs rather he should embark on singing songs that give praises to God. When asked to sing one of his songs that glorify God, he immediately took his favourite “A sango Yesu ooh” at the tune of that song, the crowed was moved and hailed him for his talents.
Furthermore, important African personalities have been paying regular visits to the Synagogue Church of All Nations whose headquarters is based in Lagos. Amongst the dignitaries is Ghana’s newly elected President – John Evans Atta Mills who is a personal friend to T.B. Joshua, Omar Bongo Africa’s Longest Serving President from Gabon, and a host of others. This issue of people paying visits to the Synagogue Church of All Nations has left many calamities in various places. Recently in Cameroon, 10 women on their way to visit the man of God T.B. Joshua in Lagos had a mysterious accident in which all of them died. Still in Bamenda a man got his wife well beaten to near death simple because the wife told she’ll be paying a visit to her mother in the South West Region only for the husband to be told by one of their relatives that his wife was seen on TV in Nigeria upon her return her husband got her well beaten.
Moreover, some have criticized T. B. Joshua, due to the large amount of alleged miracles that take place in his meetings. he Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), an umbrella association of Nigerian Pentecostal Churches, refused admission to the Synagogue Church, denouncing T. B. Joshua as an impostor Chris Okotie, Pastor and popular televangelist in Nigeria, accuses Joshua of "shamanist practices] Christian critics often refer to T. B. Joshua's unorthodox methods as being not confirmed in the Bible. T.B Joshua in reaction to this stated “"If the government wants to know who are the true men of God in Nigeria today, they should invite all the notable Pastors, Evangelists and General Overseers to the Tafawa Balewa Square and give each man of God just ten minutes to minister to and pray for the people. Then with the miracles, signs and wonders that confirm the ministration of each man of God, the government will know who are the genuine men of God, and those who are serving mammon."
In recognition therefore of his philanthropic and humanitarian work in the Nigerian Society, the Man of God was recently awarded the National Honour of OFR (Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic) by the Nigerian Government.
Well the Holy Bible said Touch not my anointed and do my Prophet no harm. Don't cast any wrong word on an anointed man of God so as not to be caused in time of reckoning.

- Posted on Thursday 14 May 2009 01:34One thing is certain; Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. As Christians, we believe God uses men as His instruments. How do we know true men of God? Is it by miracles? Satan too does miracles. Is it by charitable works? We know many unbelievers who are known around the world for their philanthropic efforts. So what classifies a man (or woman) as a man of God. It is the Spirit of God. Which man or woman can stand and say, “this one has and this one does not have”? The persecution T.B. Joshua has received is one of the many clues that show him to be a true servant of God. If they hated the master and called him demon, how much more his servants? Even among all the hatred, insults, defamation and slander he has received, the ministry still grows. I think God is fighting for him. Look at his television satation: www.emmanuel.tv
- Posted on Sunday 24 May 2009 03:17I would like to ask the writer of this article for more facts. What are your sources? Give us evidence of what you are saying. When did tb joshua say that statement? Give us proof of all you are saying my friend!
- Posted on Saturday 06 June 2009 19:03A retraction must be printed to your article which states:
“In a swift reaction to this, TB Joshua stated: ‘If the government wants to know who are the true men of God in Nigeria today, they should invite all the notable pastors, evangelists and general overseers to the Tafawa Balewa Square and give each man of God just 10 minutes to minister and pray for the people. Then with the miracles, signs and wonders that confirm the ministration of each man of God, government would know who are truly the genuine men of God, and those who are serving mammon."
This statement is false. It is a fabricated statement which was never spoken by Prophet T.B. Joshua. As Prophet T.B. Joshua has stated many times, which can be documented on Emmanuel TV (www.emmanuel.tv; www.streamingfaith.com), TBN and CTV:
The power of God is given not to be used at our own will but God’s will.
I am not the Healer. I know the Healer; His name is Jesus Christ.
He heals as He wills. He delivers as He wills. He speaks, preaches, teaches, acts as He wills.
We, children of God, must act under the guidance and government of the Holy Spirit.
God’s Word must be our rule while His grace must be our principle.
We must allow ourselves to be ruled by His Words and His grace to be our principle.
For God does nothing without His Word.
The name Jesus has power indeed but only among those who are committed to the glory of God.
Let us remember the messages Prophet T.B. Joshua has preached regarding the 7 sons of sceva. They took it upon themselves to exercise the name of Jesus – but not as those who had veneration for Christ and a confidence in His name. They did it as those who wished to make a show, demonstrate power for the sake of boasting, fame, money. They tried to use the power of God at their own will – and the Bible says the evil spirits sent them out naked and bleeding (Acts 19:16).. The name of Jesus Christ is not used as an instrument to get results. It is not to be used at our own will for our own purposes – but at His will and for His glory. Let he who glories not glory in himself but in the Lord. There is no room for any man’s boasting of his own ability and power – for all power belongs to the Lord.
Someone continues to post this fabricated statement which was never spoken by Prophet T.B. Joshua. Please, in the name of truth, correct this error and make all due amends.
