Media reports say that the prime minister is also set to visit Brussels. He is also scheduled to meet U.S. President Barack Obama during a four-day trip to Washington.

The southern African country is in dire need of help to lift its economy which is still in tatters.

"I am meeting all the heads of government of the countries I am visiting ... I hope that we will be able to put our case across and for the rest of the world to give the inclusive government the benefit of doubt," Tsvangirai said.

According to a Reuters report, the Prime minister said the country was on the right track and that there was a workable relationship with President Robert Mugabe.

Recently Tsvangirai said the country needs close to $10 billion to improve its economy and further called on donors and well wishers to assist Zimbabwe.

Mugabe and Tsvangirai have been in disagreements over cabinet positions after the power sharing deal was brokered by former South Africa’s president Thabo Mbeki.

Despite some problems still existing between the two since they entered into the government of national unity, analysts feel things will work out and that the country will regain its position.

Apart from suffering a worst economy, the country has also been hit by a cholera outbreak which has killed over 4,000 people.
