T.B. Joshua Prophesy about War in Malawi a Hoax!

  1. Over the past days, Malawians were gripped with fear by news that the renowned Prophet T.B. Joshua has foreseen war after the May 19th elections in the southern African country. An article that was written on the nyasatimes.com, quoted a contributor on nyasanet, a Malawian talk forum, as saying "In case some of you have not yet heard that there is a prophetic word from Prophet T.B. Joshua about Malawi nation. He said there is going to be violence and war 5 days after elections. He was seeing blood. So this is a call upon all believers to pray for protection. I understand this message will be passed on to churches,"

However, the official site for the Synagogue of All Nations (SOAN) has refuted the story as a lie, wondering that they have received a lot of calls and emails asking about the authenticity of the story. “People of Malawi, we love you. God bless you. We are praying for your nation. God will continue to protect your nation. God will continue to protect you throughout your election period,” says a posting on the official website of the Ministry. It continues to say that “Be advised: All messages of prophecy revealed by Prophet T.B. Joshua will be broadcast on Emmanuel TV and subsequently posted on our official websites: www.emmanuel.tv and www.scoan.org

Bishop T.B. Joshua is a respected Prophet and Miracle worker and commands a lot of authority in many African countries. Many Malawians travel to his church for prayers and spiritual help.

  1. It is sad that the media holds no qualms in setting an entire populace into a panic-stricken frenzy just in order to sell an extra paper. It is also sad that those avid viewers of Emmanuel TV were not swift to stand up and bellow, ‘he never said that’ to stop the rumours before they went too far. We thank God that there is Emmanuel TV, where everything the Prophet says and does is broadcasted live and unedited. It’s only flagrant and barefaced liars who would choose to misquote him. Nyasa Times has left their credibility completely questionable and I think Malawi, as a nation, learnt a big lesson.
