An excerpt of “This Child Will Be Great” which was read at the launching ceremony in Monrovia highlights prophesy that President Sirleaf would have been a great child and what the future holds, according to Liberia’s Star radio station.

A woman in her mid-nineties Mac Scott Riggs recalled how she was carrying the little Sirleaf in her arms decades back when suddenly an old man prophesized that madam Sirleaf would be great. She was very excited to see that “greatness” and urged young people to emulate the life of the President.

Meanwhile, President Sirleaf has left the shores of Liberia on Wednesday to hold talks with her publisher, US authorities and attend to routine medical check-up according to a an executive mansion release.

President Sirleaf recently made an appalling revelation to the Liberia’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of how she helped in financing that country’s rebel war through former President Charles Taylor who is currently standing trial for alleged involvement in the civil war neighboring Sierra Leone. The Liberia’s TRC was set up to hear testimonies of those victims and perpetrators of the civil war and create a forum for reconciliation.
