OBAMA NATION AUTHOR ARRESTED IN NAIROBI

  1. THE nasty flip side of the United States Presidential race played out in Kenya's capital Nairobi early Tuesday Morning as Jerome Corsi the controversial author of OBAMA NATION a book discrediting Democratic Presidential Candidate Barrack Obama attempted to launch it at a Nairobi hotel.

In a more daring move "The Obama Nation; Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality," also approached Obama's half brother living in the slums of Huruma estate and wanted to use the occasion to hand the youngster $ 1,000 in cash.

But Kenyans camped at Laico hotel ready to demonstrate against the man they accuse of being behind the whole smear campaign - interestingly the development came at a time when the second Presidential debate is scheduled to take place.

According to Tim Corsis a media spokesman for Dr. Jerome, about 20 officers identifying themselves as local policemen but who we have independently identified to be intelligence and immigration officials whisked the author as soon as he entered a room where he was expected to name high ranking Kenyan officials whom he claimed were involved with Obama and at the same time with unnamed international crimes.

"What i can tell you is that there is no arrest, at least not officially all they are doing is asking a few questions to Dr Jerome and then they will set him free."

Intelligence officials we spoke to on their part insisted "The man (Dr Jerome) has no papers, we will deport him, let him go and play politics at home not here."

A statement sent from a local Cybercafe through a Kenyan link - in the form of a weekly religious newspaper Editor read in part, "Dr Corsi will also expose details of deep secret ties between US Democratic presidential candidate Sen Barack Obama and a section of Kenya Government leaders, their connection to certain sectoral groups in Kenya and subsequent plot to be executed in Kenya should Sen Obama win the American presidency."

Peter Anaminyi a Chief Executive Officer of a local Radio Station expressed shock at the development telling reporters, "Am surprised that man even went past the airport."
