Great Lakes region expresses solidarity

    THE Great Lakes Region has assured Kenyans that its member states would stand by them even as a solution to the Post -Election crisis was being sought.

    The Executive Secretary of the International Conference on the Great Lakes’ Amb. Liberata Mulamula President Kibaki at State House Nairobi, expressed the Great Lakes solidarity with Kenya during the difficult post election period.

    Amb. Mulamula said the International Conference on the Great Lakes supported the country in the search for a lasting solution to the current political situation.

    The Executive Secretary of the Great Lakes Secretariat assured President Kibaki that she has contacted other Heads of State in the region who have also expressed their support for a speedy resolution of the political situation in Kenya.
