Nyanza PPO Grace Kaindi said the five were killed when demonstrators clashed with security personnel at Kondele, Manyatta and Arina estates.

She said they raided an abandoned house whose occupants fled the estate following the post election violence.
Kaindi said rowdy youths barricaded roads leading into and out of the town and security personnel had a hectic time clearing the roads.
The PPO said police would be vigilant to keep protesters from Central Business District.
This photo was not taken in Kisumu but in Nairobi, yesterday. The person was molested during the riots.
