Ahmed is a Kenyan journalist based in Nairobi. He grew up and schooled in the Kibera Slum before joining the Kenya Muslims’s Academy. He started his journalism career by writing articles for some community based organisations in Kibera. He is currently working on a ten- minute documentary on girl child labour in Kibera which is being funded by Transworld Radio
