Yemen security forces have arrested five Somali men - suspected members of Al-Qaeda - in the Taiz town, west of Yemen. The Interior Ministry of Yemen said on Thursday that Nour Omar with five other Somalis have been detained at the port of Mocha in Taiz district for further investigations.
The security forces found a laptop and a stamp of al-Manhal Charitable Society based in Mogadishu, Somalia when they searched the suspects, Yemen News Agency reported.

Last September, seven Somalis were arrested while fighting the army in support for the Houthi rebels in northern Yemen, the Yemen media said. Somali refugees fled to Yemen for good living and education.

Somalia has not had an effective government since warlords overthrew Dictator Mohamed Siad Barre in 1991.
