Watch out, Democtatorship has taken its toll!

Democtatorship is now a new form of politics in the modern world, especially in Africa. Dictators in Africa and elsewhere in the world are now using this system to hang unto power. They have headed the words of the architect of political tyrany, Marchaevelli. He had asserted that if a political Prince wants to stay in power for as long as he wanted, he has to use every means possible to make him remain in power. Indeed, his assertion holds water in the modern world today.
Political Kings are using every means possible to justify their political gymics and thus remain at the helm. They have annointed and declared themselves God’s chosen rulers. So, they were brought unto the land to rule and give orders. They know what the people of the land want and therefore decide on their behalf. They regard the people of the land as meatheads- Yes! they don’t know and will never know about anything. After all, this world has become too complex for the people of the land to comprehend issues.
To hang on to power for as long as they want ,they have opted for democtatorship. It is very simple. You call for a general election, you direct the electoral commission to ‘rape’ the electoral process, rig elections, and declare you a winner . And when the disgrantled winner decides to call for mass demos, you use tear gases to disrupt or quash the demos and when they persist, you ‘negotiate’ with him and cut a deal. He becomes an Executive Prime Minister, and you are assured of the presidency and presidential immunity. You walk above the law and ridicule your critics!
The men in helm are not different at all with those who have killed and raped innocent women and children across the globe in search for weapons of ‘mass deception’. They have formed collabos with our King Lubengula’s on the ground to inflict more pain and suffering to those who rise against them and those who oppose exploitative programmes such as globalisation, privatisation and new partnerships for African development.
They have come up with foreign modals full of myopic jargons such International Best Practices, Benchmarking, win-win situation, to confuse our Kings and robbed the land of its riches! How on earth could you expect a blood sucker to play cool with you?
The Kings who refuse to be part of the collabo’s have been demonised and their countries have been blacklisted- rogue states. Economic and travel bans are imposed to punish them but in reality they punish the people of the land- the innocent civilians.
We see how our brothers and sisters in Zimbabwe are suffering! In Kenya ‘elections’ were held and rigged. To cool things down, democtatorship was applied. In Zim, things are not different as Comrade Thabo Mbeki is in serious talks with the parties to come to a consesus! As I was penning this article, Morgan Tsvangirai, the MDC leader has been taken behind bars and his passport confiscated for refusing to heed to democtatoracy! He wants bigger powers than King Mugabe! In Uganda, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has hinted to stay for life. Should anyone come to seek for his seat he would deal with him with all his mighty and probably we might see democtatoship come into play.
Sometimes, I wonder how the people of Madagascar, Ukrain, and Georgea did it! The people of the land had decided and when their decision was quashed by unscrupulous leaders, they went on the street and brought them down!
We must not keep mum and let this form of democracy dent our credibility as both the people of the land and pro-people African leaders.
