Ghana CAN 2008
Tunisia coach, Roger Lemerre has announced 27 players for his preliminary squad for the finals of the CAN 2008, and excluded some of the key figures who helped Tunisia win their only African title in 2004, like Jaziri, Slim Benachour and Adel Chedli.

He also left out Nafti, who recently joined Saudi club Al Nassr, although the midfielder featured regularly in the qualifiers.
Eight players were named from Etoile Sahel, the winners of the MTN CAF Champions League.
Fahed Ben-Khalfallah, who plays for French second division Angers, received his first call from the Carthage Eagles.
Tunisia kicks off the tournament against Senegal in Tamale on January 23 where they housed with South Africa and Angola.
