I was born in Kisii town in western Kenya. I started my schooling in Eronge Primary school, where I discovered my poetry talent. In the year 1999, I participated in the Kenya Music Festivals, where I qualified up ot the national level. Since then I have worn several awards in poetry.

My interest for journalism arose in Nyamagwa high school, after I joined the journalism club. Here, we could collect news around the school and present it on fridays and mondays to the school community. As I joined Kenyatta university for a degree in computer science, a new radio, KU 99.9 FM was established.

I become one of the pioneer journalists, collecting and achoring news. I have been a journalist there till now. Besides, I write for university publications.

I took up a journalism diploma with a college called Nairobi Institute of Business Studies(NIBS), which I am nearly completeng.
