I have recently finished my studies and was a student at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, undertaking a diploma in Journalism and mass communication course. I have trained in News and Features writing, editing for print and video, public relations and advertising, photojournalism, desktop and magazine publishing, online journalism, radio & television broadcasting, research methodologies, mass communication and graphics design.I have previously worked for the Kenya News Agency as an information officer, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation. My duties included gathering of news, photography and video coverage. I am therefore well versed in all journalistic aspects and procedures within organizations. At the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation I was able to apply my skills on the set of HILA a local soap aired on K.B.C. I worked as a boom operator, assistant camera person during my short stint there.
