I am a business, finance, investment, and marketing researcher, education manager, and author with a passion for writing, teaching, learning & research. In addition to my fiction & non-fiction portfolio, I actively research, teach, and write about emerging markets, banking, capital investment, venture capital, financial risk, trade, investments, retail strategy, the publishing industry, consumer behavior, decision making, real-estate, cap & trade policy, micro-finance, ethics, and sustainability.
Fundamentally, I aim to use the power of words as well as networking to inspire change, challenge norms and provocatively exploring new ideas. My goal is to one day become a global philanthropist and leader, changing the world by facilitating investment in education, health, sustainable development, the environment, as well as the arts. Finally, through my fiction & non-fiction writing, I hope to become one of the greatest literary contributors, authors, and storytellers of this century.
Over the next 12 months, I aspire to become a globally recognized writer, published author, and thought leader in the areas of finance, investment, education, sustainability, marketing, as well as literature, publishing, and the arts. I study about, share stories, and write on emerging economies, specifically African, Asian, Indian, European, as well as Middle Eastern economies. As a new staff writer for Justmeans.com (starting June 1st) I actively research content & write 4+ articles per week. The articles, as well as my daily tweets, are syndicated throughout Google as well as international media outlets across 6 continents. To support this, process, I manage, create, and distribute content over a complex array of social media networks including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblrm Justmeans & Plurk using sound SEO & online marketing principles. In addition to this, while not working as the manager of graduate programs for the Faculty of Education for Simon Fraser University or writing for Justmeans, I work as an author, editor, and manuscript consultant, I work daily on developing my personal fiction & non-fiction writing portfolio. I am planning to complete my first fiction thriller novel by December 1st, 2010.
