    Amongst the opportunistic infections that dog people living with HIV/AIDS TB is the most life threatening. This is due to lack of classical symptoms for TB for the patients making clinical diagnosis difficult. - Despite TB being curable cases of people dying due to it are increasing everyday in Southern Africa and Zimbabwe.   2. Bulawayo: Matland Chess team goes for Gold


    32 pupils were selected from Matebeleland North region to represent the province in the National inter-provincial tournament that is going to be held in Masvingo at the before the beginning of the second term. - Nkulumane School was the centre of the record number of chess students who came to tussle it out for the limited positions for qualification into the provincial team. Last year only a handful of students came in compared to the 359 who participated this year. Out of the 359 there were 271 boys and 88 girls from the 26schools that are in the province.     The social football league has become a golden opportunity for job seekers and employers to socialize, often resulting into employment contracts among the players. - Many companies around Bulawayo have registered for the league, which has been running for the past decade according to Mr. Tshabangu, also known as horse power, who is the founder of the league.     The surveys in the past decade indicate that Zimbabwe has the highest percentage which is 40 percent of genetically influenced cases of children living with disability in Southern Africa which has a 10 percent marginal difference from that of Malawi. - The percentages reflect that every class of 40 in the schools around Bulawayo has the capability of having a minimum of two students living with disability.
