I was born on the 13 th of May 1970 and went to the University of Yaounde 1 in 1991 and graduated with a BA Degree (1994) in the English language and a diploma in the French Language. I am married and father of a boy After the University I taught languages and soon developed interest in rural development and soon started reporting for a development publication (La Voix du Paysan ) 'The Farmers' Voice. I later left and worked as a Volunteer for a youth organisation(Youth Outreach programme) and have been abroad to the UK prescisely to build my skills as a volunteer Manager. I am presently the founder and head of an organisation known as Volunteer Development Cameroon whose mission is to publicise the populace on the importance of volunteerism in development. I have participated and helped in organising many national and international conferences .The most recent one being the CIVICUS World Assembly held in Glasgow UK last year in June. Presently I am also heading the creation of an African Network known as the African Volunteer Union whose remit is to popularise volunteerism throughout the continent and give everyone the chance to contribute to the development of the continent through volunteering
