. I am a journalist by degree ad have written ona host of topics. I am currently working in a non-journalism position but i would like to maintain my writting. As a keen employee, I have faced a dynamic array of variables which have contributed to my development as an individual within the media and communications field. My background in communications and journalism has opened many opportunities for me through which I have been exposed to New Media, the ICT industry, public relations industry, research and development as well as project management on an international level. I am currently working as a Project Coordinator on a project that focuses on the marketing and brand development of the African World Heritage Fund of UNESCO. This has entailed interaction with African Heritage experts and stakeholders from across the continent, research on African sites and administrative duties. Parallel to this position is one of research and analysis. One of my recent lead projects included indepth research and desk research into women running mega businesses across the world. I have previously worked as a publicist where my role included the preparation of press releases, scheduling interviews across the media formats, as well as coordinating photoshoots from conception to final image selection. I was also involved in the publicity and launch of the Anglo Gold Ashanti Gold Couture Range - AuDITIONS as well as the launch of the flagship Cartier store in South Africa.
