Henri-Pierre Koubaka is an anchor reporter and correspondent whose work has been featured by various international networks in Africa, the US and in Europe. Based in Dakar, Koubaka is an 18-year veteran freelance radio journalist. His last assignment was anchoring the news in French, in English on WADR, West Africa Democracy Radio (Open Society Initiative). Besides having served as the interim progra m coordinator at WADR, Henri-Pierre was the coordinator of the coverage of the Charles Taylor Trial. He also was the bilingual producer of the cultural magazine. In addition to extensively covering elections in Mali, Nigeria, Mauritania, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Koubaka has covered several international news events (the African Union summit, conferences on conflict resolution, International Humanitarian law, Internal Displacement of Populations in Armed Conflicts ,migration, refugees, economy and financial crisis, literacy , Human Rights, technology).
