I was born and brought up in Kenya. After winning two Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards in Kenya in 2005 I am becoming one of Kenya`s most dynamic young photographers with experience in many different styles and genres of photography. Self-taught and passionate, my work includes commercial and fine art photography but my passion is in photojournalism and feature photography with my coverage of the 2007-2008 Kenyan Crisis being widely shown. I’ve recently completed a workshop with Magnum and National Geographic photographer David Alan Harvey, and have been represented by agencies Gamma/Eyedea(France), Gran Angular (Spain) and Africa 24 Media (East Africa). I am based in Kenya and have had my work published by the New York Times, the Financial Times, BBC, CNN, Reuters, the United Nations, McClatchy Newspapers New York, Africa Geographic, Brand Magazine South Africa, and many others.
