MEDIA EXPERIENCE
Leipzig Television 1995-2000
In 1995 we build up a new local TV channel in Leipzig. I was involved in a variety of programme making from local news to regional economic reporting. I started as a freelancer and became editor of a weekly economic magazine later. This 45 minutes magazine was a mixture of talk show and magazine reports reflecting the past week of economy in the German federal state of Saxony. The magazine received the 1999 Award of the television Saxon State Institute for Private Broadcasting and New Media (SLM). During this time I was the business editor for all three local TV channels of Sachsen Fernsehen.
MDR Televison 2000-2004
After building up local television I became a freelancer for German public-law television MDR and produced reports for the daily regional magazines “Sachsenspiegel” and “Sachsen-Anhalt heute” and for the weekly magazines “Artour” (culture) and “Nah dran” (society).
German Press Agency (dpa) 2000-2004
Additionally I wrote reports and news about economic topics for the German Press Agency (dpa), which supply news for most of the German newspapers, websites, radio and television stations.
Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) since 2005
Since 2005 I am responsible for the extern communication at a Research Centre of about 1000 employees.

During the UN Climate Change Conference 2009 I was in Copenhagen and reported about the negotiations for online media.
