Egypt's OT tells bourse no news to add on MTN talks
- Cairo-The Egyptian bourse denied a legation that Egyptian mobile firm Orascom Telecom had new details to announcements regarding ongoing talks with South Africa's MTN on monday. The stock exchange on Sunday requested clarity on any material issues that might be moving Orascom's share price. Orascom shares closed up 12 percent on Sunday, their biggest rise since January 31. Orascom reported that "there are talks with the South African company MTN, and this is what we have divulged before," and in a statement published by the bourse, but said it did not want to disclose further details to avoid encouraging competing offers.Italian embassy hold show in Nigeria
