My career as a Journalist has begun in Radio Fana in 1999 which is a Nationwide Radio station in Addis Ababa- Ethiopia. I had been working for six years from Assistant Reporter to a level of senior Program Producer. In my career at Radio Fana, I was a producer of various radio programs on different social, economical, cultural, Art as well as health and health-related issues. I was also a host of live talk show radio shows. I worked for the Ethiopian Society of Obstetrician and Gynecologist nearly for couple of years as well. The society has leased an air time from FM Addis 97.1 which is dedicated to entertain issues of sexually transmitted diseases, Reproductive health and HIV/AIDS. The Society has also a column on “Addis Admass”, a weekly Amharic newspaper, dedicated for the same purpose. I was responsible for planning, editing of both the radio productions and writings for the newspaper. My career enables me to travel and cover certain international conventions such as in Canada-Toronto, in Kenya- Nairobi and in Germany- Hamburg. I had also an opportunity to get certain trainings on how to reporting or in Journalism and Communication in a broad sense. Since end of 2007 until now my focus was shifting to the leadership on top of my reporting skills. I have good experience in communication and Journalism for long years. I am a hard worker with excellent work ethic. I love to work with strong team and can able to perform individual tasks. I am very interesting to work as a freelance journalist in my own continent and country.
