A member of World Bank Group, International Finance Corporation (IFC) has introduced a new program called African Leasing Facility, following the ending of a three-year program called SECO [the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs] - IFC Tanzania Leasing Program. - SECO-IFC Tanzania Leasing Program, which was introduced in 2005 aimed to promote favourable legal and economic conditions for leasing development in Tanzania. The IFC Programme Manager in Tanzania, Violet Moyo, told the VoicesofAfrica that the programme was initiated by the SECO, the Swiss institution and the International Finance Corporation in March 2005 and launched in May 2005.
