i was born in a small town called Ekwulumili in Nnewi South Local government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria, West Africa.
i did my primary and secondary schools in Ikom, Cross River State of Nigeria while i studied Theatre Arts at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
i'm the 4th child in a family of eight.
after graduation from the University in 2003, i did my National Youth Service in Adama State, North of Nigeria- i worked as a reporter in Weekly Scope- the state owned newspaper. thereafter, i worked with a profile magazine in Lagos for seven months before i got a job with TELL COMMUNICATIONS, publishers of Tell magazine and Broadstreet Journal- Nigeria's leading newsmagazines.
i was a business journalists for the five years i worked with Tell but i have always had special interest in social issues especially as it concern children, women and the disabled.
in 2007, i won two Nigeria Media Merrit Awards, NMMA in Insurance reporting and Capital market reporting. i was also the runner-up for the best Agricultural reporter
in 2008, i got four nominations in Industry reporter, Money market Reporter, Capital Market Reporter and Arts and Culture reporter. that same year, i got two nominations in the Diamonds Awards for Media Excellence in Agricultural reporting and Capotal market reporting.
i resigned from Tell on the 5th of October, 2010.
at the moment, i'm running a company i set up with my husband- its basically about marketing communications.
anyway, i have a two year old son who has been enrolled in pre-kg in a private school here in Abuja
writing is my hubby, something i can't do without. i'm about publishing a business profile magazine with interesting business articles
