I was born in 1953 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I finished my elementary school in Ethio-Italian Elementary School. Then from Grade 6 - 8 in Teferi Mekonen Intermediate school.
I finished My High School in Bible Academy (American mission Boarding School) in Nazreth town south of Addis. In 1972 I was forced to go to Sudan due to political reason.
I joined the Liberation force (EPLF) in 1978-1994 participated in photography, cultural groups and heavy artillery section. I was demobilized on June ’94 and start working in my father's souvenirs shop as a photographer (especially postcards and posters), which are still available and of course best in town. 1997 I joined a crush course for 9 months on Audio and video Mega Institute of Audio and Video Manila, Philippines. In 1998 I established Panafric Global Plc. a company that produces Feature/Documentary films, Audio/Video Music, Photography and Graphic design. I had a chance to study journalism and communication in Asmara University from 1996-97.
