    - G-Pange was launched with a lot of fanfare. there was the anxiously awaited arrival of ragga great Mr. Vegas and the star studded line-up of Kenyan acts. It was also the first concert to be televised live and for a whole day. I did not attend but it was obvious from the massive traffic jams created that thousands of Kenyan youth were attending. When the traffic jams got too long or their patience ran thin they got out and walked hundreds of them, I suppose the camaraderie and anticipation meant that the distance was not an issue.
