Kimani Nyoike was born and raised in Rift Valley's Eldoret town. Since being caught up in the post-electoral violence of 2007-08 thus his awakening, a pointer to speak out on issues that affect African politics as well as culture is his main aim.
Today he is a journalist, a writer and a student at the United States International University, Nairobi.
