Mowliid Haji Abdi is a Somali Professional Journalist who’s now in exile in the United Kingdon for the sake of carunt situation in Somalia, especial Journalists.

Mowliid is General Director of the Somalia Braodcasting Corpartaion (SBC) based in Puntland, he was manageing director of that Staions Radio, Tv and Web site since 2002. http://www.sbclive.net/profile.php

Mowliid’s Journalist career started mid 1996 at the Radio Mogadishu Codka Shacabka(Voice of People), he letter become Progaram maneger of the Radio in 1998-2000.

Mowliid become 2002 Managing Director of SBC but the Station was shut down in that year by the order of the former Transitional Federal Government of Somalia who was at that time Puntland President.

During the closing of the Station Mowliid become organising and established Team of Radio Shabelle he become Radio Program manager, but in 2003 he joined again SBC as Director General.
