As a relative new comer to the continent of Africa, Hailey is still highly attuned to its issues. Originally from America, Hailey has emigrated to the great continent. She has fallen in love particularly with South Africa -- its wild beauty and rich diversity -- and has even come to embrace the challenges of living in a foreign land. After being in South Africa for a year, she undertook a career in journalism in hopes of engage with the country's complex identity in a more formal way. Hailey has profound respect for South African history, but believes the country will only be fully restored with an active and engaged public.
