  2. PHOTOS: Recycling changes lives in Adjame market

Many families in Ivory Coast, most of them from Guinea, make their living by recycling aluminium cans into cooking wares. It is a family tradition, which is handed down from parents to children. - Children also help with the activity and they will be seen in dumping sites looking for soda, spray cans and any other aluminium metal that will be used to make aluminium cooking wares. Most of these families live in poor living conditions and the children hardly attend school. These photos were taken by AfricaNew’s reporter in Abidjan, Njambi Ndiba.
