My name is Dinfin Mulupi, I am a business journalist based in Nairobi, Kenya with two years experience in print journalism. I began my career in journalism two years ago as an intern for the People Daily a local daily paper. Afterwards I moved to a weekly business paper called the Financial Post as a correspondent and went round the country writing news and features for a whole year. I later moved to the third biggest daily paper in Kenya, The Star Newspaper as a correspondent in Kenya’s coastal town of Mombasa where I covered general issues ranging from politics business, environment and human rights. Due to my passion and interest in business news I quit to go back to the Financial post as a staff writer based in Nairobi. To date I write on business issues with a keen interest on Energy issues, telecommunication, ICT, Real Estate, Tourism, Agriculture and the Environment. I am also the East Africa correspondent for How we made it in Africa, an online business publication based in Cape Town, South Africa .I am tasked with gathering news and features from within the East African region emphasizing on opportunities, challenges and innovations in the region.
