I am interested in culture, politics, economic and social affairs. I started journalism when I was at school, as chairperson of our school magazine. After my university education, 1993 I joined the then only weekly english bi-weekly, Family Mirror, and rose up to editorial assistant. Then worked with different other media houses before coming back to University of Dar-es-salaam, in 2001, for further studies and teaching career in theatre and communication studies. I maintain three weekly columns dealing with Politics, Social Affairs and Travel (tourism and culture).
