Born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. I have a Diploma in Masscommunication and a Degree in Media Studies. Started my jourmalism career with the now defunct Daily and Saunday Gazette before moving up to work for the Financial Gazettee on the business Desk. I later joined the Zimbabwe Independent where I ended as its Bulawayo Bureau Chief when I left full time journalism in 2001.

Since then I have contributed to a number of local, regional and international publications including, Reutersalertnet, Global Knowledge (norway), New Agriculturalist (UK) and IPS Africa.
