In a move seen by many political activists as a bargaining strategy to retain his grip on the presidency Senegal's president Abdoulie Wade has authorized Senegalese prison official to free all women convicts serving prison sentences in the country's jails by January 20, 2012.

In a similar move president Wade has also extended his gesture to the ministry of justice with a donation of sixty brand new vehicles including five Limousines worth fifty million CFA francs to the staff of the constitutional courts; the very courts that is expected to determine whether he is eligible to run for the presidency for a third term or not later this year.

According to mebitimrew.net; President Wade said 20th January will be a memorable day for all Senegalese women prisoners; he further called on Senegalese communities to also give out charity to their neighbors on the same day.

Senegalese leader revealed that women convicted with minor offenses will be pardon; adding that those convicted with major offenses be guided by security agents to have a 24 hour stroll around the city from the 19-20 of January 2012.

    Civil society organizations react

The president donation to judiciary has been widely condemned by society groups arguing that is an attempt by the president to corrupt the judiciary to validate his candidacy.

Philippians 1:10 ( KJV; 1611 EDITION ) reads as follows:
"That ye may approue things that are excellent, that ye may be sincere, and without offence till the day of Christ."
President Abdoulie Wade is not being sincere in his efforts. It is clear that he is bribing the constitutional courts by donating to them - "sixty brand new vehicles including five Limousines worth fifty million CFA francs."

    Sincerely in Christ,
