- The Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG), Ms. Ellen Margrethe Løj, has presented awards to four Liberian youths for rescuing a UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) staff member from drowning in the Atlantic ocean. On 22 February at about 1700 hours, four young Liberians - Nimely Walker, John Richard, Foday Massaley and Rahen Roberts, braved the strong ocean currents on the Urban Plaza, 6th Street, Sinkor beach to rescue Janet Burnett.
